Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CallKeep ("we", "us") handles personal data. CallKeep provides an AI-powered call-answering service for trade businesses in London. If you have any questions, email hello@callkeep.co.uk.
Who we are
CallKeep is a call-answering service based in London, United Kingdom. For data we handle about our own website visitors and business enquiries, we are the data controller. For data we handle when operating the service for a client (for example, details of people who call our client's phone line), our client is the controller and we act as their data processor.
What we collect
- Website & enquiries: if you email us or book a call, we receive your name, email, phone number and anything you choose to tell us.
- Service data (as processor): when answering calls for a client, we capture the caller's name, phone number, address/postcode and a description of their job, so the call can be booked and passed to our client.
- Technical: standard server logs and only the essential cookies needed for the site to function. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.
How and why we use it
- To answer and respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or demo.
- To deliver the call-answering service to our clients and send them the job details.
- To run, secure and improve our website and service.
Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (or steps before one), our legitimate interests in running the business, and consent where required.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the site to work. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies without your consent. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We use trusted suppliers to run the service, including a voice-AI provider (ElevenLabs) and telephony providers, who process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your data, and we do not use callers' data for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and our legitimate business records. Service/call data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service and the client's reports, and is deleted on request.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@callkeep.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version.
